Here's the story of E-Z Edge from our owner, Al Green:
Necessity is the mother of invention.
And that’s why we launched E-Z Edge heavy duty PVC edge restraint—we needed the best system in the world to anchor our interlocking paver projects.
Now, we have created EZEdge.net to share the important information that paver edge restraint can be easy AND effective. That's based on a lot of real world experience.
For over 7 years, we have been the largest concrete and brick paver installer on the Central Coast of California. We are certified as installers by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), the premier educational association of our profession.
We have put in hundreds of thousands of feet of pavers in hundreds of driveways, patios, and walkways. Most of our work has been in residential settings, although we’ve got more than a few really heavy-duty commercial jobs like parking lots under our belt.
We’ve learned through experience that excellent edge restraint is absolutely essential. You can’t call a project done unless it’s going to stay put. Period.
We tried all the methods. All of them work to one degree or another. But when we found E-Z Edge, we never looked back and we never used another system if we had the choice.
In our own paver business, quality and time and efficiency are essential. We have to work fast, but our projects have to last and last. E-Z Edge gives us an edge over other approaches because we can install it quickly in any situation, curved or straight, and move on to finish the job. It’s also easy to learn and easy to do—new guys on our crew are up to speed right away.
For home installers, we would recommend E-Z Edge every time.
